Any type of rash on the body is known as dermatitis. There are 3 types of dermatitis - contact, seborrheic and statis. In contact dermatitis you get acute irritation or rash due to contact with chemicals like soaps, detergents and cosmetics. In seborrheic dermatitis you get scales and flakes that look like dandruff around your face, eyes and scalp. And in statis dermatitis you get scaly red patches that appear inside the lower leg, around the ankle and is usually found in middle aged people. Accordingly there are different home remedies for dermatitis.
There are various symptoms of dermatitis -
1. Dry red itchy thick patches that can occur in any part of the body
