An eye stye, also known as eye sty is an infection that occurs on the gland of the eye lid. It looks like a pimple or some kind of eruption on the skin that is reddish and swollen in nature. For this, you need to put the leaves against a warm damp cloth and use it as a compress on the affected eye.

One of the most important home remedies for eye stye is triphala water. Wash your soft eyes daily with this water. You can make triphala water easily. You just need to add one teaspoon of triphala powder in a glass of water and allow it to stay overnight. In the morning you have to filter it and wash your eyes with great care. Coriander seed is another natural product which can give desired result on this problem. Add one teaspoon of coriander seeds in a cup of water and boil it. You need to wash your eyes with it for 3-4 times daily. It is considered as one of the best home remedies for eye stye.

Do you know that tea bags can be one of the useful home remedies for eye stye? Wet a tea bag and cover it over your beautiful eyes for at least 10 minutes. You should use it several times daily. You will really get effective result from it.



One of the other best home remedies for eye stye is extract of acacia leaves. You need to prepare an extract by boiling it with two cups of pure water. Apply this remedy on your eyes to get fast relief. Make it sure that the preparation is strained properly before using it. It is advised to use soaked cloves on the affected area to get positive result. Guava leaves can also be one of the effective home remedies for eye stye if you use them on your affected area.

According to the doctors, turmeric is one of the help home remedies for eye stye. Add one teaspoon of in 2-3 cups of water and boil it properly until the whole amount can be reduced to half. Pass this mixture through a fine cloth so that turmeric granules can be removed. Use this remedy as the eye drop for 2-3 times daily. Dandelion tea can also be used because it will fight against the bacteria responsible for this problem. There is also a technique of making a paste of potato, and the applying the paste on a piece of clean cotton cloth. Then wrap that cloth externally on the affected eye, and it will sure reduce the inflammation.

Alum water can also be used to wash the eyes frequently. Preparing alum water is easy, and all that you need to do is mix 2-3 balls of alum in a cup of water.

Then turmeric water can be used as eye drops for a few days, till the eye stye is cured. You need to mix 2-3 teaspoons of turmeric powder in a glass of water and boil it. Additionally, you should drink dandelion tea, which helps the body in getting rid of the bacteria that has caused the eye stye. Make sure that you are not wearing contact lenses at any time during the period your eye is suffering from the stye. In fact, after your stye has been completely cured, get a new set of lenses for yourself to prevent the previous infection from spreading itself and causing the problem again.

Avoid touching your eyes too much during the time they have a stye on them, and also don't try to squeeze out the stye pus on your own. It will drain out naturally, and your forcing the pus out can cause severe problems later.
